Questions, answered.

What exactly is JavaScript?
JavaScript is a high-level, interpreted programming language used to create interactive and dynamic web pages. Alongside HTML and CSS, it's a core technology of the web — powering animations, form validations, and the interactive experiences you see everywhere online.
Is JavaScript the same as Java?
Not at all. Despite the similar names, they're entirely different languages. JavaScript is a lightweight scripting language for the browser. Java is a statically typed, compiled language that runs on the Java Virtual Machine. Same syllables, completely different worlds.
What is the DOM?
The Document Object Model is a programming interface that represents your web page as a tree of nodes. JavaScript uses the DOM to dynamically change content, structure, and style — and it's a core part of our curriculum.
What are Promises and async/await?
Promises represent the eventual result of an asynchronous operation, and async/await (introduced in ES8) lets you write async code that reads almost like regular synchronous code. We cover both extensively, with real-world API examples.
Will I learn frameworks like React?
This course covers the JavaScript and jQuery foundation you need before tackling React, Vue, or Angular. We introduce frameworks conceptually — and we offer dedicated React and Angular courses for going deeper.
Do I need prior programming experience?
No. The course is designed for both absolute beginners and developers looking to upgrade their skills. We start with the basics and build up to advanced techniques over three months.
What kind of certification do I get?
You'll receive a Trinity Technologies JavaScript Certification — an industry-recognized credential demonstrating proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery, valuable for roles like front-end developer, web developer, and software engineer.
